City Tour Tobacco & Rum

This unique Tobacco & Rum Tour is an exciting and cultural excursion to get to know the exciting life of the dominican people and to delight our famous rums, to taste the aroma of our precious tobaccos and to savor the product of our delicious coffee. After your hotel pick up, we will take you directly to San Pedro de Macorís to Barceló Rum Museum to learn the history and watch the aging process of the rum (tastings included).

Once you learned the history of rum, we will go to La Estancia, a cigar factory in Bayahibe, to learn about the entire process of cigars from seed, flower, leaf selection, cigar manufacturing, rolling and types of cigars (tasting included).

Following this visit we will take a break for a delicious lunch and then continue to the coffee factory to familiarize yourself with the process of this product: from green coffee beans to roasting and tastings.

After this last visit, we return to the hotel. This program may vary according to customer’s request.
